About Helpful Calculator
Helpful Calculator is a collection of small, single-purpose calculators. Every one of them lives in a single file: the fields, the formula, the test cases, and the two-language copy, all in one place. That constraint keeps the writing short and the formula honest — there is nowhere else to hide either.
What you will not find here
No accounts, no cookies, no ads, no reserved ad space, no star ratings, no carousels. The calculator sits above the fold on every page; everything else is trimming.
How a number gets here
Every figure a calculator uses comes from a source with a check date, shown at the bottom of the page. Test cases are taken from that source — never derived from the calculator’s own formula, which would only prove the code agrees with itself.
Languages
Helpful Calculator is built in English and German from the start. A calculator that only makes sense in one place — a regional tax rule, for example — stays single-language rather than getting a forced, misleading translation.
